The future we believed in when, under the skies of Lipar in 2017, we planted the first fruit trees for brandy, has come true. GeN brandies made from plum, pear, and quince have seen the light of day and set out on their journey to all those who cherish tradition, carrying the scent and taste of the finest fruit.

Since genesis is our natural state, and we continue to expand our estate, plant new orchards, develop recipes, upgrade and align our equipment, the time has come for us to proudly open the doors of our distillery.

We hope that the noble materials — copper from which our Barbut stills are made, oak for our 500-liter barrels, the grandeur of the 20-ton fermenters in the interplay of light, and the balanced combination of exceptional architecture with modern technology and the natural surroundings — will be a fitting introduction to the tasting of our products.

Within the distillery, right next to the cellar where our brandies age, we’ve created a tasting center. Here, everything is calm and slow-paced, just as it should be when tasting premium brandy. Products made from Mangalica pork, fine cheeses, and warm, incredibly tasty pastries will enrich the atmosphere with their looks and aromas. With explanations and gentle suggestions from our staff, we believe the words will start to flow naturally.

Since the workweek drains everyone’s energy, weekends are ideal for nature and good company, accompanied by top-quality brandy and delicious treats. GeN Distillery is open for your visits on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM — come and enjoy a PICNIC IN LIPAR.
